Jasmin Simmen
I am Jasmin, a makeup artist and photographer from Zurich, Switzerland. I mostly work in portrait, beauty and fashion and I love things that are out of the ordinary, that's why my own projects mostly feature sub or pop cultural content. I love to try out new things and I’m always on the lookout for the next amazing project.
My main inspirations for my make up creations come from nature and all of its moods. After all, the most creative and adventurous looks can come from the simplest of sources. I am not afraid to explore the “ugly” sides of make up and I love playing with identities and characters in my own downtime creations.
My creative mind is restless and I can’t sit still once the muses kissed me.

Aside from make up and photography I tend to pile up other creative hobbies such as drawing, music and writing. I like to refer to that as my artist goblin. I’d also call myself a Youtuber of some sorts, maybe even a clown in that aspect, since I’m not afraid to laugh about myself whilst trying to entertain. Which, to be completely honest, recently only really happens through my cosplay. Another downtime activity I like to pick up from time to time is the learning of new languages, I’m sort of geeky in that aspect too.
Honestly, I’m just a big nerd and I love it.
